August 17: Three Walls Luther Saw (Vol. 36, pp. 263-275)
Continuing the religious theme, we get some of Martin Luther's "Address to the Nobility" today, part of his campaign to reform the Catholic Church which eventually led to the breakaway Christian sects we classify today as Protestants.
I have been involved in broadcast, print and online media in New England for nearly three decades.
Currently, I am the chief editorial writer at the Brattleboro (Vt.) Reformer.
I have also been a regular contributor since 1996 to The American Reporter, the first online-only daily newspaper in America.
I am a 1983 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and 1997 graduate of Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. I was also an infantry sergeant in the Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1981 until 1987.
