May 19: Golden Advice on Manners (Vol. 2, pp. 128-138)
Some of Epictetus' advice on how to live one's life — mainly to be content with what life offers you and that serenity is the way to happiness. Typical Stoic philosophy.

I am a 1983 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and 1997 graduate of Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. I was also an infantry sergeant in the Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1981 until 1987.
